16 photos from emotional Elland Road send off for Leeds United heroes Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi

Leeds United waved goodbye to two promotion heroes at Elland Road on Sunday in the final day 3-1 Premier League victory over West Brom.

Pablo Hernandez and Gaetano Berardi were given a standing ovation by the 8,000 supporters in attendance in LS11.

The pair were handed starts by head coach Marcelo Bielsa in what was the final outing for the pair in West Yorkshire.

Both will depart this summer as they move on to the next chapter of their careers.

Herandez and Berardi were substituted in the 70th minute to a rousing reception and tears were shed post-match during their final lap of the stadium.

"I thought it was an unforgettable game," Bielsa said at full-time.

"It was a great homage to two players that stop belonging to Leeds. The responses they got only players that give a lot deserve it.

"The performance of Pablo today indicates he deserved more minutes than the ones I gave him this year. Berardi after such a long time not playing showed he can still be current.

"The most important thing is that their public, his team-mates, the staff showed their recognition to those two players."

Here, we take a look back at some of the best pictures from an emotional day at Elland Road:
