There had been warnings ahead of the match but Luke Ayling's volley in the third minute made social distancing a difficult task.

The Whites welcomed Huddersfield Town to Elland Road for a Yorkshire derby with Marcelo Bielsa's men in the thick of a Championship promotion race to the Premier League.

Ayling's volley lit up the game in the third minute while Patrick Bamford bagged in the second half to end eight games without a goal.

It would be the final time supporters were allowed into the stands in LS11, as the coronavirus pandemic emerged to halt football in its tracks.
