11 memories from Gary McAllister's time at Elland Road with Leeds United
Gary McAllister's time at Elland Road is fondly remembered most for the role he played in helping the club to the 1991-92 First Division title.
The Scot was a key part of the four in midfield under Howard Wilkinson as he lined up alongside Gordon Strachan, Gary Speed and David Batty. McAllister made 294 appearance across six years for the club in total, scoring 45 goals. He also returned for a spell as head coach for a short time in 2008 as his Leeds side lost a League One play-off final at Wembley to Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers.
