Liam Bridcutt, meanwhile, will also be assessed on his thigh injury with head coach Steve Evans hinting the on loan midfielder again might not be risked.
United produced one of their best performances of the season with Tuesday’s night’s 2-1 victory at St Andrew’s but Bamba twisted his ankle while Carayol was left feeling the effects of a tight hamstring.
Both were due to train at Thorp Arch today and tomorrow with Evans “hopeful” that both will be available this weekend but admitting that “precaution” would be needed over the next two days.
Bridcutt, meanwhile, has missed United’s last two games with a thigh injury and he too will be assessed at training.
