Leeds were then due to welcome Barnsley for a 3pm kick-off the following Saturday - January 21 - but the clash with the Tykes will now kick-off at 5.30pm due to the live broadcast.

In addition, United’s early February Championship trip to Huddersfield Town has also been moved from the originally planned 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday, February 4 to the same time the following day - Sunday, Februry 5.

The West Yorkshire derby will not be televised but the game has been moved because Huddersfield’s hosting of Brighton will be screened on Sky the Thursday before - rather than on the final Tuesday evening in January as previously planned.

Leeds are already approaching a period of five consecutive games in 20 days being screened live on Sky throughout November and December, starting with the Championship home clash with Newcastle United on Sunday, November 20 (1.15pm kick-off).
