And today the Yorkshire Evening Post can exclusively reveal loyal sponsor Clipper Logistics has agreed a new deal with the club as it heads back to its rightful place in the Premiership.

The new two-year sponsorship deal continues Clipper's long-time partnership with the Whites and will see them become the club's official training kit sponsor and official logistics partner.

Clipper branding will also be visible across the Elland Road stadium and Thorp Arch training ground.

With the worldwide exposure the club's return to top flight football will bring, the deal is a major boost to the Leeds-headquartered logistics firm which transports high-value goods across the UK and Europe.

Steve Parkin, Clipper Logistics executive chairman, a lifelong fan, said: "Clipper has been the main sponsor of Leeds United since 2016, and has hosted corporate events in our Club Box since 1992.

"We are delighted to extend our relationship with the club as it regains its rightful status – as a Premier League club.

"The promotion to the Premier League is not just great news for the club and the fans, but also for Leeds as a city.

"A successful Premiership club makes an enormous difference to the local economy and Leeds has been missing that for many years.

"We are proud to remain sponsors of the club and look forward to a continued partnership as Leeds United plays to a truly global audience.

"We’ve been incredibly proud of our partnership to-date and look forward to seeing what the next two years of our partnership brings.”

Paul Bell, executive director of Leeds United added: “Clipper have supported Leeds United through the good times and the bad, and therefore we take great pride in the fact that their most prominent sponsorship comes just as we return to the topflight.

"The power of the Premier League puts Leeds United on a global stage and as our training wear partner, Clipper will join us on that journey.

"These are exciting times for our region, and we look forward to many more years working in unison.”
