Roberts had been sidelined since joining United from West Brom in January with the 19-year-old cracking a bone in his shin in his first training session upon joining the Whites having recovered from a minor knock that he joined with.

Having finally returned to the Leeds fray for this summer's pre-season, there were fears that Roberts may have damaged his shin or suffered a new injury as the 19-year-old was substituted for Jordan Stevens in the 38th minute of Thursday night's friendly at Guiseley.

But Roberts is reportedly fine following the clash at Nethermoor Park with the teen only taken off with a view to featuring in Sunday's final pre-season friendly against Las Palmas at Elland Road.
