Leeds United: Antenucci and Wood favourites to hit the net against QPR

THE bookmakers are finding it hard to name a clear favourite for tonight's Elland Road Championship fixture between Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers, who are marginal market leaders.

The mid-table sides have picked up one point between them over their last four games with QPR’s 3-2 loss at home to Middlesbrough preceeded by a 1-1 draw at Preston.

Leeds approach the fixture following back to back losses at Rotherham and at home to Huddersfield with QPR consequently narrowly edging favouritism with some firms tonight.

Coral, for example, go 17-10 about a QPR victory but 9-5 on Leeds though clearly there is very little in it.

Across the board, 9-5 is the best price on offer for the Hoops with Leeds as big as 19-10 with both Marathon Bet and Matchbook.

On that basis, Rangers are narrow favourites.

A draw can be backed at 23-10 with Boylesports and BetVictor.

A 1-1 draw is rated the most likely outcome from a scorecast point of view - at 6-1 with BetVictor who go 15-2 about 1-0 wins for both sides and a goalless draw.

That says it all, nobody really has a clue.

United’s Chris Wood and Mirco Antenucci are 6-1 co-favourites to score first alongside QPR’s Conor Washington.

If there’s any value on offer then QPR top-scorer Tjaronn Chery might be worth a nibble at 9s as he’s scored four in his last three games and five in his last eight.

Oddschecker also has Souleymane Doukara listed as 7-1 to net first with a few firms.

In a game that’s very tricky to predict we know one thing for certain, it certainly won’t be him.
