Whitkirk are now sixth on the top-tier ladder, while Colton FC remain fourth.

HT Sports overcame third-bottom Bardsey Sunday 4-2 and stay second in the table with Kirkstall Crusaders retaining top spot by virtue of a better points difference despite not playing at the weekend. Things could change on Sunday, however, as Kirkstall are again without a scheduled fixture.

In Division One, celler dwellers, Original Oak, defied their lowly status to give second-placed Oulton Athletic First a good run for their money on Sunday morning.

Goals from Jamie McCormack and Reuben Young gave Oak hope but, in the end, it finished 4-2 in the visitors’ favour, Liam Atkinson (2), Russell England and William Ramsden on target for Athletic.

Billy Mole struck a hat-trick as fourth-placed Swillington Welfare First edged hosts Hunslet Club Sunday First 5-4.

Matthew Sheron and Jack Wicher were also on target for Welfare, while Carlton Binks, Luke Boyes, Scott Burns and Stephen Hancock-Khan netted for fifth-placed Hunslet.

Mid-table New Armley will be the happier of the two teams after their 3-3 home draw with Garden Gate.

Division Two bottom club, Republica Internationale gave leaders East Leeds Celtic a mighty scare before eventually being edged out 3-2 by the high flyers.

Third-bottom West Yorkshire Falcons’ season might just have taken off after their notable 3-3 draw at third-placed Beck & Call.

Churwell’s game with Pudsey Bojangles was abandoned but the mid-table contest between Halfway House and Harehills WMC went ahead with the visitors building on a one-goal half-time advantage to run out eventual 3-0 victors.

Daniel Marcinkowski, Estefano Muhongo and substitute Marcos David Lujan got the vital touches for the clubmen’s goals.

Results went with the formbook in Division Three.

Mid-table AFC Daisy edged second-bottom Leeds Alpha, 3-2, while Bramley Athletic had too much in the tank for visitors Athletico Bramley.

The hosts secured the local bragging rights with a 4-2 victory courtesy of goals from Arron Broadbent, Anthony Thorpe, Darren Turner and Reece Wood.

Second-placed Bramley Lions mauled visiting Crown & Anchor - in fourth on the ladder - 4-2. Biramo Diallo struck twice for Lions with Scott Goodall and Dennis Gregson also getting in on the act. Finlay Penman and Liam Kerfoot - in the 90th minute - scored for Crown.

Ashley Anderson netted to give third-placed Little London a 1-0 win at game hosts, Northern Star First.

Leeds Hyde Park, meanwhile, were not match for table-topping Old Crooked Clock and subsequently went down 3-1.

Struggling bottom side, Swarcliffe First, were hit for six by sixth-place Headingley Rovers First. Jason Clark (2), Michael Evans, Sam Flynn, Eddie Ralph and substitute Jordan Parkinson claimed the goals for Rovers, while Fraser Branton bagged Swarcliffe’s consolation goal.

North Leodis continue to lead the way in Division Four with seven wins from seven, having disposed of third-placed Sporting Pudsey, 4-2 on Sunday.
