HT are level on points with leaders Kirkstall Crusaders but sit second owing to their slightly inferior goals difference.

For their part, Crusaders boosted their goals tally with a 7-3 victory at basement club, Seacroft WMC who didn’t let the leaders have everything their own way and were still very much in the hunt at two apiece on the turnaround.

Matters at the top could take an intersting turn this coming Sunday when the pacesetters lock horns.

In Division 1, Wykebeck Arms opened up a massive 14-point gap with Sunday’s 4-0 victory at second-placed Oulton Athletic First.

Sheepscar are third, a point behind Oulton, after their 7-2 win over fourth-placed Garden Gate.

Hunslet Club Sundays First take on the seemingly unstoppable Wykebeck Arms, Swillington Welfare First travel to New Armley, Original Oak First entertain Garden Gate and Sheepscar are at home to New Inn New Inn.

In Division 2, East Leeds Celtic took the opportunity to replace non-playing Scholes at the top of the tree with a 3-0 win at Western Juniors. James Banner gave Celtic a two-goal cushion at half-time and Luke Rudd make the result safe in the 88th minute.

Churwell joined the other two top-four teams on 16 points with a 7-0 victory at basement side Republica Internationale.

George Bowles bagged a hat-trick with other goals coming courtesy of Ben Bedford, Lewis Fox, Steven Greenwood and substitute Cameron Alexander.

Sixth-placed Pudsey Bojangles, meanwhile, beat the side sitting above them, Harehills WMC, 5-0 after leading just 1-0 at half-time. Robert Nicholson, Liam Harrison, Brodhi Wilkinson, Elden Harrison-Bennett and substitute Shane Collins scored the goals. Scheduled fixtures for Sunday include Beck & Call at home to Western Juniors OB, Halfway House on home turf against Churwell, East Leeds Celtic making the trip to Pudsey Bojangles, Republica Internationale entertaining FC Scholes, and Harehills travelling to West Yorkshire Falcons.

In Division 3, third-placed Little London remain the only team with a 100 per cent record in the group following a convincing 4-1 victory over second-placed Bramley Lions. Ashley Anderson, Scott Jones and Cameron Lyn (2) netted for London with Levente Macsay the solitary Lions scorer.

Elsewhere, second-bottom Swarcliffe out-gunned cellar dwellers Farnley Rangers 4-0, Bramley Amateurs went down 3-1 at home to Crown & Anchorand Ahtletico Bramley were hit for six without reply by visiting Headingley Rovers Firsts.

This coming Sunday, AFC Daisy, Leeds Hyde Park, Leeds Alpha and Northern Star First are all scheduled to be back in action.
