Previous table toppers, Navigation, had Dave Blakeley on target twice but went down 5-2 at Hartshead, who scored through a Rob Johnson hat-trick, plus efforts from Dan Laidlaw and Alex Barnes.

Scott Minto hit a hat-trick for Birstall St Patricks in their 5-5 draw with Town Rangers to leave them eight points clear of the drop zone. Alex Howdle bagged the others with Rangers replying through James Hutchinson, Dale Bain, Danny Berry, Scott Thornton and Lee Breen.

With leaders Hanging Heaton Cricket Club having completed all their Division One fixtures, The Yorkshireman blew their title chances after losing 4-0 at Battyeford, who can still clinch the title if they win all their remaining games. FC Liversedge climbed to fourth place after they had a Jack Brook double to thank for a 2-1 win over bottom side Birkenshaw Reserves, who had Nathan Foster on target.

Josh Wood hit four goals as Punch Bowl won 6-3 at Batley Celtics.

Gary Holmes and Lawrence Balmforth hit the others with Brad Jackson, with two, and Will Newsome replying for Celtics.

In Division Two Saville Arms are eight points behind leaders Old Bank WMC with two games in hand following a 5-1 win over Field Head. Saville’s scorers were Patrick Davies, James Damon, Danny Damon, Lewis Tolson and Jordan Walton.

The mid-table clash between Six Lane Ends and Overthorpe Sports Club Reserves ended in a 1-1 draw.

Six Lane Ends opened the scoring thanks to Kane Grogan’s spectacular 35-yard shot, but Overthorpe replied through Steve Jordan’s deft header.
