Stephen Ellison netted a 90th-minute equaliser after strikes from Pa Ceesay and Ian Bush had given the Badgers hope of overturning a 3-0 half-time deficit.

Earlier, Ryan McKendry (2) and Dan McCalmont seemingly put the Falcons in charge, but their failure to secure maximum points sees them drop one place to third.

The Thirsk outfit still hold six games in hand on leaders Harlow Hill, but now find themselves 18 points behind the top-flight pacesetters who sealed a 13th win in 16 outings on Saturday. Doubles from Dan Paterson and Shane Hand were added to by Lesedi Ledwaba-Chapman and Tendai Irvine Machama as Hill beat Pannal Sports by a 6-3 scoreline.

Oli Bassett, Thomas Carr and Tim Kitchen were the men on target for struggling Pannal, now without a league win since early November.

Beckwithshaw Saints climbed into second when they triumphed 2-1 on the road at Bardsey, while Knaresborough Celtic Reserves defeated Addingham to consolidate fourth spot. Steve Beecroft, Dan Ledgeway, Amory Lewis and John Meredith hit the back of the net for the Celts.

George Lawrence and Wayne Vickers both smashed in hat-tricks for Bramhope as they thrashed rock-bottom Hampsthwaite FC.
