A goal either side of half-time ensured Leeds United returned north with maximum points from Ashton Gate.

Robert Snodgrass opened the scoring before Max Gradel capped off a fine team performance, which also saw us net a healthy profit from buying (betting higher) United’s win index at 16 with Sporting Index.

The victory puts the side in an excellent position ahead of the hotly-anticipated visit from Norwich City. If United can pick up successive victories it would see the side leapfrog the Canaries in the league and move a point clear of their play-off rivals. Since the defeat at Cardiff a few weeks back, Simon Grayson has helped guide the side to five Championship games without a loss.

Although on a good run of form, Grayson will not underestimate the opposition, who are in fine nick themselves.

However, Norwich were beaten 2-1 in their most recent away fixture at Burnley. Earlier in the campaign it finished all-square when United and Norwich met at Carrow Road and the Canaries have lost on three of their past four visits to Elland Road. Paul Lambert’s outfit have been beaten only once in their past six away league games, so United will have to be patient if they’re to take all three points.

Backed by the vociferous support and with a strong home record against Norwich I fancy United to shade this one – spread bettors should buy (bet higher) United’s win index at 17 with Sporting Index. United have netted 13 goals in their previous six home league games, with both Robert Snodgrass and Max Gradel in excellent form.

I expect there to be plenty of chances created and I would recommend a buy (bet higher) of total goals at 2.6 with Sporting Index.
