Liverpool may have won the title, but there’s still much at stake in the Premier League – and thousands of Fantasy Premier League mini-leagues.

The Gameweeks come thick and fast at he moment, with the league playing catchup following the coronavirus-induced pause, meaning many managers have missed their opportunity to make substitutes, captain key players or carry out transfers.

There’s a lull before the arrival of Gameweek 33+, however, meaning you can get your season back on track if necessary.

Here are five players that we think FPL managers should prioritise recruiting ahead of the next Gameweek.

Alisson Becker, Liverpool

Liverpool have deservedly earned the title of champions this season and would be forgiven for taking their foot off the gas this season.

While Jurgen Klopp may be more willing to rotate outfield players, he will likely keep first-choice stopper Alisson between the sticks for Liverpool’s final set of fixtures.

The Reds face Villa, Brighton and Burnley in their next three fixtures and the Brazilian will be hoping to add to his already impressive clean sheet tally.

Gabriel Jesus, Man City

Sergio Aguero has been ruled out of Gameweek 33+ resulting in a mass selling of the Argentinian maestro.

Pep Guardiola has rotated between Aguero and Gabriel Jesus in recent Gameweeks, but this setback should see Jesus be first-choice for the next run of fixtures.

Jesus costs just shy of £10m and with a couple of 90 minutes spells under his belt he should reward managers who select him.

Marcus Rashford, Man United

Man United are looking like a side who could challenge the recent title-chasing duopoly of Liverpool and Man City next season with commanding performances against Tottenham, Sheffield United and Norwich City in recent Gameweeks.

The Red Devils will look to remain in top gear as they push for a European spot.

He may have been outscored by Anthony Martial since the restart, but Rashford has been the more productive over the whole season scoring 14 goals and laying on seven assists in the league so far this season. Recruit him ahead of United’s fixtures with Bournemouth, Villa and Southampton.

Christian Pulisic, Chelsea

Pulisic is emerging as one of Chelsea’s most important players, putting in a man of the match performance against Manchester City in Gameweek 31+.

Lampard finally seems willing to give the American a 90 minutes spell in his side and FPL managers could benefit as a result.

Pick the £7m midfielder ahead of Chelsea’s games against Watford, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.

Riyad Mahrez, Man City

Mahrez has been electric since the restart, scoring twice and assisting once in two games.

With winnable fixtures against Southampton, Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth and Watford on the horizon, Mahrez could continue to add to his impressive goal and assist tallies.
