However, they will have to wait a little longer to see who they might face, as their third round replay against Dover Athletic has been postponed tonight.

The Lions led the initial tie going into the last 10 minutes. Will Hatfield broke the deadlock with a clean effort that went straight into the bottom corner. Jack Parkinson equalised for Dover, but Gavin Rothery put Guiseley ahead again after capitalising on a goalkeeping mistake.

However, from the final chance of the game Duane Ofori-Acheampong scrambled home to set up a replay.

Elsewhere, FC Halifax Town could welcome back long-serving former manager Neil Aspin after his current club Gateshead were drawn against them in the fourth round.

Their game against Chester FC was postponed on Saturday, meaning the two teams will face each other on Wednesday.

That tie was delayed from Tuesday to give the Shay’s pitch as much chance as possible to be ready for action after the torrential downpour in West Yorkshire over the weekend.
