Surprise package - Real Moor.

Wortley sit sixth in the Yorkshire Amateur League second tier and faced a side who were unbeaten in their last ten games but the YAL outfit took a 1-0 lead through Wade Rushworth.

Shelf recovered to lead 2-1 at the break but Wortley drew level through Joe Hudson, only for the Halifax side to once again nose ahead.

But Wortley then squandered several chances to draw level as Shelf squeezed through to set up a semi-final against new emerging Wakefield League force Real Moor on Wednesday, April 26. The second semi-final will be between Meltham Athletic and Field Reserves and played on Wednesday, May 3. The final will be on Wednesday, May 24, with all games now played County HQ.
