Rejuuvenated Bradford City might be without key loan midfielder Ricky Ravenhill at home to high-flying Shrewsbury Town tomorrow – but the midfield grafter is backing City in his absence.
The Bantams are unbeaten in their last four League Two matches, picking up eight points along the way while recording back-to-back victories for the first time this term after an impressive 3-0 home win over Crewe on Boxing Day.
That haul has moved City five points from the drop zone, but tomorrow must make do without tigerish schemer Ravenhill, who serves a one-match suspension after being booked for the fifth time this season on Monday.
Ravenhill, who has pinned his colours firmly to the claret-and-amber mast by declaring that he’d love to sign a permanent deal when his loan spell from Notts County ends on January 14, said: “Shrewsbury won’t see us as an easy game any more. Maybe a month ago that was the case.
“I’m sure their manager will be having a good look at us now and realise how hard it will be to get the three points. But we’re confident that we can keep the run going.”
