Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker comes straight into the starting line-up in place of the outgoing Samuel Saiz who is putting the finishing touches on a January move to La Liga outfit Getafe.

The Blues midfielder last saw action in late November as he started the home clash against Reading before being hauled off at half-time in the 1-0 victory.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell retains his spot in goal with Pontus Jansson and Kalvin Phillips linking up at centre-back.

Jamie Shackleton and Barry Douglas are the two wing-backs once again as Adam Forshaw is expecting to sit in from of the back four in a holding midfielder role of a 4-1-4-1 formation.

Mateusz Klich and Baker have been selected to playing behind lone striker Kemar Roofe who bagged a brace last time out.

United striker Tyler Roberts has also returned to the bench having missed the last two match day squads.
