Micah Richards is expected to shake off an ankle injury to be fit for Aston Villa’s clash with Crystal Palace.
The skipper was forced off in Saturday’s 1-1 FA Cup draw at Wycombe but boss Remi Garde believes he will be fit with rock bottom Villa looking for their first league win since the opening day of the season.
Carlos Sanchez and Alan Hutton (both hamstring) are out along with Adama Traore (foot) and Gabriel Agbonlahor is struggling with a back problem, while Jack Grealish is a doubt after missing the weekend draw with tonsillitis. Charles N’Zogbia and Libor Kozak are available but are not expected to feature with Garde prepared to let them leave this month.
Provisional squad: Guzan, Bunn, Bacuna, Richards, Okore, Clark, Lescott, Richardson, Kinsella, Cissokho, Crespo, Westwood, Gil, Veretout, Grealish, Gana, Lyden, Sinclair, Hepburn-Murphy, Ayew, Agbonlahor, Gestede.
