Logan included 16 fours in making 118 and shared century stands with James Wainman (65) and Ryan Cooper (80) as Farsley raced to 343-5. He then took 5-35 to dismiss the home side for 160.

There was another match-winning performance at Woodlands where Chris Brice tore apart the struggling East Bierley batting.

Half-centuries from Greg Finn and Liam Collins saw Woodlands to 202, with Mahammad Hafeez taking 5-44. But any hopes Bierley had of a much-needed win were destroyed by Brice, who took 6-23, including a hat-trick, and winding up the visitors’ 77-run innings with two wickets in three balls.

The top two had comfortable wins, Sheffield Collegiate beating Whitley Hall with Jack Timby making a half-century, while David Toft (77) and Qaisar Ashraf (50) were the main contributors to Wakefield Thornes’ 235-7, and even when the total was revised down, Doncaster Town fell 20 short.

Wickersley remain third despite being unable to reach Treeton’s DLS total of 153, Iftikhar Afzal (4-37) slowing their progress.

Duncan Snell hit his fifth century of the season and took his total league runs to 926 as Yorkshire North leaders York comfortably beat Driffield Town.

Hoylandswaine remain top with victory over Mirfield Parish Cavaliers in a rain-spoiled match while third-placed Broad Oak beat second-placed Honley thanks to a knock of 84 from Dominic Finn.
