Bradford City: Taylor happy as Bantams taking shape

Bradford City are seeking their second double in the space of a week at home to basement boys Barnet tomorrow – with Peter Taylor believing his troops are starting to look the real League Two deal.

It's been an excellent 2011 so far for City, who followed up their New Year's Day victory at Lincoln City with victory against high-flying Bury on Monday.

With City's spirits also buoyed by Taylor's decision to turn down the assistant-managers' job at Newcastle United, the Bantams chief wants the players to continue their momentum and round off a top-notch seven days against the managerless Bees.

Taylor, who has signed young Hull striker Mark Cullen on a month's loan, said: "I've always said that we aren't that far away.

"Anyone who saw the second-half performance on Monday would understand why I've been saying it for so long because we showed some real quality."
