The seaside resort of Bridlington will provide the backdrop to this festival, being inspired by the 2016 Dad's Army film which used Bridlington Old Town's Georgian High Street to portray Walmington On Sea and included a St Georges Day Parade lead by Bridlington's Own Town Crier David Hinde.

This 1940s festival will celebrate Bridlington's Old Town being used as the location for this film and its epic transformation into Walmington -On-Sea.

Many businesses located in the Old Town were used for individual shop sets in the film, which was also set during the 1940s.

There will be a handpicked selection of performers, including the George Formby Experience, Madeline Brown, Jessa Liversidge and Coastal Voices and Yorkshire Corps of Drums.
