Why six fire engines and multiple police cars were driving through Leeds today

More than a dozen emergency response vehicles have been seen travelling through Leeds this afternoon.

Police bikes, vans and cars were spotted along with 10 fire engines and incident response vehicles on Meanwood Road as they headed towards the city centre.

A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokeswoman said the vehicles were taking part in a police convoy training exercise alongside West Yorkshire Police teams.
