A Leeds market town is gearing up for a cycling spectacular tonight.
Dozens of cyclists are set to take to Otley’s streets to tackle the Bondgate circuit for the return of the Otley Cycle Races.
Tonight’s event is set to kick-start the British Cycling Elite Circuit Series and for the first time there will be a competition for under 16’s.
Thousands of people are expected to line the town’s streets to cheer on the cyclists as they compete to the finish line.
Motorists are being warned that diversions will be in place and affected routes will be closed between 5pm and 10.30pm.
The race celebrates its 35th year and notable winners over the last three decades include home grown talent and world champion Lizzie Armitstead who won the women’s race in 2014.
