VIDEO: 'Royal funeral' filmed in Leeds city centre for new BBC2 drama

A new BBC2 drama is being filmed in Leeds city centre - according to a video sent in by a reader today.

In the footage, a troupe of Beefeaters appear to march alongside a coffin draped in royal symbols.

A notice says "Please be aware, we are currently filming scenes for a new BBC2 drama entitled "King Charles III", It is based on the play by Mike Bartlett.

"Please do not be alarmed. KC2 TV Ltd would like to apologise for any inconvenience cased in the making of this film."

The footage was sent in to the Yorkshire Evening Post by Spotted Bradford's Facebook page.
