They came, they saw, they baked!
Dozens of enthusiasts rose to the occasion to take part in the Great Garforth Bake Off.
The local library was the venue as bakers of all ages were invited to submit their scrumptious sponges and mouth-watering meringues for judging. Community librarian and judge Kate Midwood said: “There were some really tasty cakes and the youngest entrant was four.” The cakes were sold and raised £65 for Pets As Therapy.
The event was part of the wider Garforth Feastival on Main Street.
