PLANS TO SPEND almost £2m revamping an area of land at Quarry Hill have been set out by Leeds City Council.
The piece of land sits next to the West Yorkshire Playhouse off the Eastgate roundabout.
Quarry Hill will undergo major changes in the coming years with plans for a new Leeds City College building and a development including apartments, a hotel and bars and restaurants.
If the project is approved by councillors, work on the site could begin in July next year and by completed by December 2019.
Councillors will discuss the idea on Wednesday.
