Zooming in on new exhibition at The Hepworth Wakefield

An art gallery has snapped up a new photographic exhibition capturing the expansion of British cities after the Second World War.

The Modern Nature display, which opened yesterday, (July 13) runs until April next year at The Hepworth Wakefield gallery.

It showcases more than 60 photographs drawn from the collection of Claire and James Hyman.

The exhibition features photos snapped since the end of the Second World War, charting a course from the start of de-industrialisation to the present day, and exploring the merging of urban and rural landscapes and the rapid expansion of cities across Britain.
