around 500 zombie film fans joined Emmerdale stars Dominic Brunt and Mark Charnock, who play Paddy Kirk and Marlon Dingle in the soap, for Leeds Zombie Film Festival.

The blood-thirsty film buffs dressed the part to enjoy six modern and classic zombie movies at Cottage Road Cinema, in Headingley.

Mr Brunt said: “Mark and I have been spending our time arguing and fighting over the line up and it’s a strong year mixing foreign, classic and brand new. Every single film is a crowd pleaser.”

The films on show at the event, which raises money for the World Society for Protection of Animals, included Before Dawn, which Mr Brunt directed and starred in.
