The walking dead invaded a Leeds college as students channelled their inner zombies in the name of art.

Production arts students at Leeds City College took inspiration from popular television series The Walking Dead to create terrifying zombie make-up as part of the Backstage Pass event.

The special effects event aims to showcase work by students on the theatrical costume, hair and make-up and technical theatre courses.

Fellow performing arts students were transformed into zombies for seven installations, ranging from a wedding and hospital scene to an aeroplane and a circus, all with spooky lighting and visual imagery.
