Letter: Gutted to see Peter leave theatre

Have your say

Peter Sandeman is gutted after having been made redundant as general manager of the Leeds City Varieties and I too am gutted at the action of the Grand Theatre & Opera House.

Mr Sandeman has worked for 24 years with tireless dedication and passion for the future of this world-famous theatre.

Now, having overseen the highly successful refurbishment and re-opening, he will be exiting the stage door, following in the footsteps of thousands of entertainers he brought in to entertain theatregoers over the years.

May I wish Peter Sandeman the very best of luck for the future and say the ‘Verts’ will be much the poorer with his absence.
