The free superhero event, held during half term, included a fancy dress competition, a superhero comedy duo, Batman, Batgirl and Wonder Woman stilt-walkers and a comic-strip workshop. Cartoonist James Parson’s Crazy Comic Club Workshop was also a big hit on the day, with youngsters learning to draw superheroes and creating a giant comic strip in the mall. Centre manager Susan Mendoza said: “Shoppers of all ages have really enjoyed our superhero event. The stilts walkers in their fantastic costumes were really popular. It was lovely to see the fantastic drawings created by the youngsters at the comic workshop.”
