"We have lost our son Jack in tragic circumstances and as a close-knit family, we are trying to come to terms with our loss.

"Jack was a grand lad with a close circle of friends and work colleagues. He was also a son, brother and grandson; he was very much loved by us all and we can't imagine life without him.

"He was starting to find his own way in life as a gardener and he was enjoying his job. We have been told he was a hard worker and his boss was glad to have him on his team. He was a likeable young man with everything to live for; we are devastated by the loss of Jack."
