Young Muslims help in Leeds flood clean-up

Young Muslims from across the city handed out sandbags, helped people secure their properties and cleaned homes after last month's devastating floods.

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Leeds joined thousands of others who stepped in to help as the clean-up got underway. They also assisted people in moving their belongings, gave out food packs to those in need - and even went grocery shopping for elderly people who were struggling to get out.

The association aims to engage its members in good causes, such as charity fundraising, feeding homeless people, blood donation drives and tree planting.
