a group of Leeds youngsters made their live radio debut as part of a series of challenges designed to get them active in their communities.
The young people were invited to appear on a show at Fever FM in Roundhay Road.
The group was partnered with the community station and did market research before appearing on a show with presenter Anil Bharath.
The radio adventure came about after dozens of budding entrepreneurs pitched their ideas to Morley and Outwood MP Andrea Jenkyns as part of a Dragon’s Den style panel.
Instead of business ideas, the youngsters presented their ideas for community campaigns and volunteering projects.
The event was part of the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme in Leeds and Wakefield.
Over 2500 16 and 17 year olds from Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford are taking part in projects this summer.
