YOUNGSTERS have been learning new skills at an inventors club workshop week at a pop up ‘playlab’ in Leeds city centre.

Not-for-profit social enterprise Playful Anywhere staged the Arts Council-funded workshop in an empty shop it has acquired unti May 9 at 21 New York Street.

Emma Bearman, chief of play for Playful Anywhere, said: “We have got their inventive and creative juices flowing.” The space will be open to the public as a cafe for parents and play area for children from 10am to 4pm next week. Go to facebook/playfulleeds
