You have to remain with your device while it is charging, as there is no secure storage available.

They've been provided by BT as part of the InLinkUK roll-out - and Leeds is the first city outside London to get them.

Fourteen will eventually be made available across the city.

Other services include ultrafast Wi-fi, free phone calls, access to street maps and the BT Phonebook app.

The InLinks come with digital displays featuring real-time information, such as the weather forecast and council and community messaging.

InLinkUK from BT are able to offer their services to the community at no public cost, as the project is funded by advertising revenue.
