Yorkshire Post classic car rally proves a hit

CAR FANS took a step back in time at the Yorkshire Post Classic Car Rally as hundreds of vintage vehicles went on show.

The popular event at Harewood House on Sunday, June 15, included a range of cars from Minis to Morris Minors, and also saw prizes awarded at the end of the day for best in class.

The family-friendly car rally included trade stands, a fun fair, vintage stalls, food and drinks.

The James Dylan Motorcycle stunt team, Company of Horsemen Wild West and Cossack trick riding displays also performed to the crowds and Vintage Steam exhibitors were also on show.

Originally starting as a small event 20 years ago, the car rally now attracts classic and vintage cars of all types from readers and various motor clubs throughout Yorkshire and beyond.
