YEP website: Normal service resumed

It’s a case of service as normal for the YEP website after a week of major technical issues.

The biggest issue proved to be the random ordering of content which appeared to leave the website dated with old stories and latest news and sport hidden from view.

A fix has now been put in place to resolve this.

Andrew Hutchinson (@AndyHutchYEP), YEP digital editor, said: “We are hoping that the technical issues that have blighted the website have now been resolved.

“We appreciated everyone taking the time and trouble to email and tweet us their concerns. Please accept our apologies for the disruption. Normal service has now been resumed.”

The new model will ensure these is early and late cover from neighbourhood policing teams.
