YEP says: Jo Cox legacy is in good hands
THe work Jo Cox began to tackle loneliness cannot end until loneliness ends. As Kim Leadbeater rightly says the work is only just beginning as the Government and other agencies take on from where the Commission left off.
How fitting that the new Minister for Sport and Civil Society Tracey Crouch, was at Leeds Rhino’s Headingley ground, when she discussed the issue with Kim. She cannot fail to be impressed by the work the Rhinos are doing in communities across Leeds to reduce loneliness. MP Rachel Reeves will ensure the work of her friend and former colleague will not be in vain.
