So it is good news that the Trussell Trust is there to provide food banks for our most needy people. More than 65,000 food packages were handed out at the Trussell Trust’s 25 foodbanks in Yorkshire over the last financial year - eight per cent more than in 2014/15.
The charity says reducing hunger needs work from the voluntary sector, Government, businesses and the public. YEP readers have assisted before. We hope they will continue to help.
