YEP Says: Help Harry’s mum to change the law

Have your say

GARY GREEN drank 13 pints of beer the night before he ran over and killed 11-year-old Harry Whitlam on a farm.

We don’t want to waste words on Green. Rather, we would rather focus on Harry’s mum Pamela. Hit by massive grief, she decided to focus on a positive and is now trying to change the law so that people like Green can be prosecuted even if they are on private land or farmland.

Changing the law is never easy and rarely simple but in this case Mrs Whitlam is spot on. She deserves justice. MPs and councillors would do well to help her commonsense campaign.
