Most cities would give their eye teeth to be able to boast a building like Leeds’ Corn Exchange.

As a building it is universally admired, but as a business entity it has not always been a runaway success.

In recent years the Corn Exchange has had one or two changes of direction, management and personality.

Rushbond, its current owners, have promised there will be some positive changes in 2018. Their plans are short on detail though as they are “commercially sensitive”.

This is understandable but also makes it hard to get too excited about. We live in hope though - a thriving Corn Exchange is great for Leeds.
