YEP Says: Our sympathy to all those affected by Leeds Stonegate Road horror crash
five people were killed when a car crashed in Leeds. We have sympathy for the families of these youngsters aged from 12 to 24.
Their lives will never be the same again, thanks the recklessness of a 15-year-old boy who has been jailed.
Whatever the causes of this tragedy, nothing will bring back those victims. Should the boy have been locked up for longer than four-and-a-half years? It is easy to have sympathy with the families who think that sentence doesn’t even begin to measure their loss.
We should also remember the emergency services who had to deal with this crash site. We are grateful for their professionalism.
