YEP Says: Maggie's centre a legacy for Leeds
THe Yorkshire Evening Post is exceptionally proud of having played its part in helping raise awareness and money for the new Maggies centre which will be built alongside St James's Hospital.
Yesterday (Jan 22) was the official ground-cutting ceremony for the building project, which, when complete, will be a state-of-the art, beautifully designed building offering a peaceful space and support for all those battling cancer throughout Yorkshire.
Those behind the Million for Maggies appeal in Leeds have worked tirelessly to make this happen, and the results will be a lasting legacy for cancer patients.
