YEP Says: Join Peanut on the Leeds Abbey Dash

IT is good to know that among all the ordinary people taking par in the Abbey Dash will be some extraordinary folk.

There will be fun-runners, elite athletes and celebrities such as Peanut from Kaiser Chiefs. The star – real name Nick Baines – said it was a ‘great buzz’ to be coming home to Leeds and running the fast course alongside elite runners.

The Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 2017, which is backed by the Yorkshire Evening Post, will see 12,000 runners take to the streets of Leeds on November 5 for the fundraiser to support vulnerable older people.

We wish all the runners well. If you haven’t signed up yet, you still have time.
