YEP Says: Behind scenes at home of our soap

Coachloads of visitors regularly thronged the village streets and even popped in to the ‘Woolpack’.

Now it’s based at Harewood House, the set has been off limits for most people.

But special open days for Home Farm, the ‘new’ Woolpack and guided tours are being offered.

The show deserves it. We in ‘Emmerdale country’ might become a little blasé about the series, but we should remember this is a programme with a national profile.
