High-end stores are doing well in Leeds with John Lewis leading the way and Victoria Gate is a popular destination shopping centre.

Trinity Leeds is also pulling in the punters in impressive style.

Now the White Rose centre can celebrate too with the arrival of a £6m landmark Next store.

The 55,000 st ft shop will be the company’s biggest in the county.

It will relocate from another shop half the size and will open the new premises in June.

Next is just one of the many updates and additions to the shopping centre, alongside the new leisure extension planned for completion in autumn, which will include an 11-screen Cineworld IMAX cinema and six new restaurants, including Wagamama, TGI Fridays, Pizza Hut and Chiquito.

It means that Leeds is expanding its retail and leisure attractions, from designer stores to more every day offerings which is good news.

It means that Leeds can attract a broader range of shoppers.

White Rose attracts 13 million visitors a year, which is a tremendous figure when you consider the wealth of attracts just a couple of miles away in the city centre.

This is no doubt down to strong public transport links and good car parking, as well as the impressive shops on offer.
