Yates bar on Boar Lane in Leeds city centre to close

The new Slug and Lettuce-branded bar opens on December 8 in the same building.

Yates is described as a 'high-energy party pub', whereas Slug and Lettuce cocktail bars tend to be more upmarket with a focus on food.

There is already a Slug and Lettuce on Park Row, which is a short walk from Boar Lane.

Stonegate have recently converted their second Yates site in Leeds, on Woodhouse Lane, into Australian-themed bar Walkabout.
