Women taken to hospital after car hits wall

A WOMAN had to be released from a car by firefighters after the vehicle collided with a wall in the Belle Isle area of Leeds,

The female, believed to be aged in her mid-40s, was then transported to hospital by ambulance, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

Two fire engines from Hunslet fire station attended the scene of the collision at Parnaby Tavern in Middleton Road at around 8.45am this morning.
